Young-adult fiction (often abbreviated as YA) is fiction written for, published for, or marketed to adolescents and young adults, roughly ages 12 to 18.
Speculative Fiction contains other types of fiction, as illustrated. However, others such as superhero, utopian and dystopian, supernatural, and others, when combined, should fit within the genre of “speculative” fiction.
