So - have you ever :
Used the Lord's name as a cuss word?
Stolen or taken anything that didn't belong to you?
Lied?
If you think you've never sinned, then ask yourself:
"Have I ever broken any of God's laws in my entire life, known as - The 10 Commandments?"
Exodus 20:3-17 1. You must not have any other Gods before Me (He is to be your only God) 2. You must not make for yourselves an idol before Me (anything that is more important than God Himself is an idol) 3. You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God (either as a cuss word, or just used as a joke) 4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (have at least 1 day a week used to worship Him) 5. Honor your father and your mother 6. You must not murder 7. You must not commit adultery (physically or with lust in your heart) 8. You must not steal (this means anything) 9. You must not give false testimony (do not lie) 10. You must not covet (want something that belongs to someone else)
So, the bad news is - we have all violated His laws, by committing sin!
But, there is good news - The Gospel!
What Is The Gospel?
It's the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified on a cross and died for our sins, then 3 days later arose from the dead! Therefore, we can now be saved and have eternal life in Heaven with Him - that's The Gospel! - The Best Gift Ever!
So, how can you respond and receive
The Best Gift Ever!
By simply following the 3 Steps to Salvation:
1. Admit your a sinner:
Romans 3:23: "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God ...".
Romans 5:8: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 6:23: "The wages of sin is death; But, the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
This next step is the life-changing moment:
Choosing to believe in Jesus is the key, because it's way different than just believing about Jesus - they are 2 totally different things!
2. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart:
Romans 10:9-10: "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
3. Receive The Best Gift Ever - it's guaranteed - and free!:
Romans 10:13: “…, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
A Prayer for Salvation in Jesus
So if you've never prayed to Jesus for salvation in Him, here is a simple prayer, and if you genuinely mean it in your heart, with repentance (sincere sorrow or regret) - You will be saved!
Lord Jesus I am a sinner.
I repent of all my sin, and ask you to forgive me.
I want to put my faith and trust in You.
Jesus, thank you for coming to this earth and dying on a cross for my sin.
I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead.
Jesus thank you for saving me. Amen
What are the next steps:
1. Ask the Lord to show you a local church where you can be baptized (Acts 2:38)

2. Start attending a local church (Hebrew 10:24-25). If the church where you get baptized teaches the entire Bible, then ask God to show you if you should attend there, or somewhere else. Attendance can be at least 1 service a week (usually on Sundays, but can also be on a Saturday)
3. Read His Word (the Bible) - start in the Book of John. This is extremely important for spiritual growth!
